Hello and welcome to my web home. My name is Rita but I've been known online by my nickname, RiRi, which was given to me in 1980 by a very special man who was instrumental in helping me obtain my Amateur Radio or Ham license in 1984. The nickname is a constant reminder of a wonderful friendship, one I'm not likely to forget.

Feel free to roam through my pages and enjoy some or all of what I have created throughout the years. I've particularly enjoyed creating the memorial pages for my mom and dad which you will find in the holiday section. I've written a short story on one of my Christmas pages relating the joy of growing up in a large family around the holidays and the fun we shared. There is also a memorial for out beloved cat, Elmer J. Fudd, who passed away July 30, 1998 and now lives at Rainbow Bridge, a story of an abused cat and some humorous cat stories to make you smile. If you enjoy poetry, you can find sonnets by my friend Norella and some wonderful poetry by Maya Angelou and Patricia Reilley.

On a serious note, there's a topic that moves me so I hope you'll read the poem entitled "Crabbit Old Woman" which was written by an elderly woman in a nursing home and think of how many elderly relatives are ignored and left alone because nobody has time to bother with them. I wonder if it will make you think and cry and if so, give your elderly relatives a hug and kiss really soon before it's too late...

Spend time celebrating the holidays with me ... I always place current holidays at the top of my menu for ease of viewing and have created several pages for some holidays so do come and celebrate them with me. Visit my small graphics section, choose an image for adoption or select a tube. I'm hoping I can spend more time expanding on that section since I have created so many tubes this year.
